Our Story
Julianna Hammond was born in White Rock, British Columbia. She moved to Calgary with her family at the age of 10 (and we're glad she did)! She grew up surrounded by music, dancing her way through her teen years, participating in bands and choirs, and developing a love of history and biblical discussions along the way! In her spare time, she loves to do anything that involves a needle and thread, cooking, and baking.
In June, she will be completing a Medical Laboratory Technology diploma, fulfilling a decade-long dream of working in the medical field!
A born and raised Calgarian, Dean Hibbert grew up with a passion for LEGO, photography, and art. As a child, he was surrounded by a large and energetic family (he's the second oldest of five siblings)! He studied New Media Production and Design at SAIT, where he was bitten by the coding bug…
He builds websites for a living, and when he's not working, you'll probably find him playing indie video games, snooping around with ancient film cameras, or making fan art!
Ours
The two of us met at our church's Young Adults group and quickly became best friends! After a lot of banter, our friends convinced Dean to ask Julianna out - and the rest is history…
From our first date at a board game cafe to the popping of the question at Bow Valley Ranche, we've been enjoying the journey every step of the way - and we're so excited to start our next chapter, and to celebrate it together with our family and friends!
